A streamlined workflow is an integral part of business process automation. A big part of this is efficient data collection with Salesforce and other related products. Recently FormAssembly introduced Workflow as part of their product to take data collection to the next level.
I have been a FormAssembly user for 10+ years and have implemented FormAssembly for many financial institutions and non-profit organizations. I even implemented it for the AppXchange hour website. I love it because of its simplicity and power to handle logic.
Recently I was fortunate enough to get my hands on the FormAssembly Workflow Builder. I am surprised that the door of possibility opens with the new workflow builder. For example, with the new Workflow Builder, you can map out everything from simple to complex processes, combining FormAssembly web forms, emails, integrations, conditional logic, and more into a visual roadmap of tasks and actions.
Here are a few features that increase my excitement:
- Conditional Paths: You can now easily add form logic that allows you to move away from older methods of form routing, such as using form redirect URLs.
- Prefill: Improved form prefilling will allow you to selectively share data with reviewers and approvers so they can make decisions while preserving the security and privacy of the data you collect.
- Assignments: You can now involve multiple participants in a workflow, each with their forms, to fully implement review and approval processes.
- Last but not least, you can easily reference data collected in any steps of a workflow.
